ORDERS & SHIPPING
How is my order fulfilled?
Fulfillment is unique to every business because it's affected heavily by capacity and capital. At Taco Vinyl, the fulfillment process begins when we receive your order. It goes directly to our fulfillment team who sorts and prints out labels. Small orders such as badges, decals, and other small accessories are fulfilled quickly depending on current stock. Larger items often have lead times due to the nature of our revolving inventory system, paint production, and natural delays due to the economy. Generally, that lead time is taken to prepare your product and modify and paint it as needed. In these cases, orders are fulfilled categorically by the date they were placed. Once the item is fulfilled we have our shipping partners pick it up at 2pm MST. The item is then taken to a shipping hub. When it arrives there it is scanned, sorted, and redirected your way. Note that as soon as the label is printed your tracking number is created. That tracking number is updated when the carrier scans the package. Sometimes that process takes a few days depending on the influx of business.
Where do you ship?
National Shipping
We currently offer to ship to all 50 states including many US territories. All of our products are shipped via UPS and USPS. Each item is quality inspected prior to shipment.
International Shipping
We currently offer shipping to the following international locations: Canada & Japan.
We do not ship to any other international areas unless deemed suitable by the shop owner. Orders will be considered based on the number of orders and customer communication. If you have an inquiry, please email in at: support@tacovinyl.com.
In the case of placing an international order please provide your complete address in ENGLISH and a suitable phone number or email where you can be contacted at.
Please note that any duty and processing fees are the responsibility of the customer and not Taco Vinyl LLC.
What is the average shipping time?
This is a popular question. If you get a chance, view "How is my order fulfilled?" This is a great segue to understanding the fulfillment process.
For smaller items (decals, badges, overlays, etc) there is a lead time of 1-3 days. On rare occasions, this is subject to change depending on inventory at the time the order is placed. We distribute a lot of our items to other businesses that buy in bulk so it's nearly impossible to anticipate when they purchase and how much they're going to purchase. In these cases, we do our best to email you with an update but do our best to get your items out to you as soon as possible while maintaining a high standard of quality control. Everything is always fulfilled by the date it was placed.
Our large items generally have a 1-4 week lead time. This is due to many different factors explained in "How is my order fulfilled." Our larger items are similar to our smaller items in the way that they are ordered in bulk at times. We will do our best to keep you updated during these situations. Note that your item is still fulfilled categorically by the date you placed it. We will not skip your order.
Note after the lead time has expired is when the shipping you paid for will be applied. If you need this adjusted by any means please let us know.
TROUBLESHOOTING
What colors do you paint? How do I find my paint code?
All of our painted products are professionally painted with high-quality PPG automotive paint. We use the same paint codes that are used on your vehicle. We paint 99% of TOYOTA paint codes and any other colors you may find on our grille badge schemes.
*Understand that unless your vehicle is currently with us it's next to impossible to obtain a 100% perfect paint match for your vehicle. This is why in autobody shops they blend your car's paint to the surrounding surfaces or repaint the entire vehicle. With older vehicles, the difference between what we paint and what's on your vehicle can be very drastic in quality and vibrancy.

How do I find my vehicle's paint code?
You can find your vehicle's paint code in the driver's side door jam on the production sticker. The paint code will be displayed with "C/TR:" and the letters following that are the vehicle's exterior paint code and trim or interior color.

I'm missing an item?
Schucks! We hate when this happens. We apologize in advance. In this case please email us at support@tacovinyl.com with pictures of the packaging, items received, and packing slip. Once we receive this we will send out the appropriate missing items as quickly as we can.
We appreciate your patience and your allowing us to make it right for you!
I would like a return/refund. What do I do?
If you received an item that does not fit your vehicle by customer error or you're wanting a return based on other factors, you will be charged a 10% restocking fee and will be responsible for shipping back to Taco Vinyl. If you disagree with this policy based upon a unique circumstance please let us know. If the item is returned damaged and/or defective in any way there will be additional fees. Please package the item up appropriately so this doesn't happen. Refunds are issued once the item has arrived and been expected. This generally takes 2-3 days upon return arrival.

WE DO NOT accept returns on any product that has been installed and/or painted/custom items. Please read item descriptions upon purchasing to avoid this situation. We don't want you to be stuck with an item you won't use so please read the specifications. Exclusions apply based on circumstances deemed by the company representative.
Cancellation without cause on products that haven't been shipped after a 24-hour time period will result in a mandatory 10% cancellation fee.
I would like to exchange my order. What do I do?
If you're looking for an exchange based on ordering something by accident we're happy to assist you with this.
The best thing to do would be to email us at: support@tacovinyl.com and provide us pictures of what you received and what you were wanting instead. Once we have that we ask that you pay for shipping back to us and include a brief note of our conversation and the resolution we came to for this exchange. Once the item arrives it will be inspected for damages. If the item isn't damaged, we will send you an invoice for shipping the new item back to you. Upon payment completion of that invoice, we will send you the new item.
NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT CUSTOMER-FAULTED EXCHANGES OF CUSTOM AND/OR PAINTED ITEMS.
I received the wrong item. What do I do?
We apologize for the mishap! Please be patient with us as we make this right for you.
In cases like this, we ask that you email us @ support@tacovinyl.com and provide us pictures of what you received as well as the packing slip. Once we have that information we will provide you with a return label sent directly to your email. Please package this item up appropriately and ensure it's protected during shipment and send it back. As soon as the item(s) have been shipped back to us please provide us with valid confirmation (tracking number or receipt) so we can send you the correct item quickly. If valid confirmation isn't provided we will hold off sending the correct item until we receive the return.
My item(s) arrived damaged or broken. What do I do?
This is always a bummer, but unfortunately, it's a reality in a world of rapid shipping and a lack of gentleness during the shipping process.
We always do our best to package our items up so they won't get damaged but in cases, they do we have teamed up with ROUTE. A company dedicated to providing quality protection insurance at a low cost. We suggest that you purchase this protection in order to have peace of mind. It makes everyone's lives easier. It's automatically added to your cart at checkout too! ROUTE replaces items that have been lost, damaged, or broken. You can utilize your package protection insurance by visiting www.route.com and going through the prompts to file a replacement claim. This process is extremely easy and user-friendly but if you're experiencing a hard time please let us know.
Note that ROUTE will be automatically applied to your cart for ease of purchase so if you decide to opt-out you are subject to placing a claim through the carrier which is often a very long and arduous process. Once that process plays out we will make a decision with the carrier based on how to proceed which is generally not in favor of the customer or business.

What is Taco Vinyl?
Taco Vinyl was started by accident. Founded by Brandon Chandler in 2019 in his small apartment in Central Utah. He purchased a 2017 Tacoma TRD Offroad while doing sales in California. The stock appearance didn't last long as he dug deep into the aftermarket industry both creating and sourcing products that were visually appealing and stood out on his own vehicle.His first product was the "TRD Pro Grille Decal" which gained traction through social media unintentionally. Brandon jumped on this opportunity and "TACOMA VINYL" was born. As time went on and popularity increased the name of the business transitioned to "Taco Vinyl." Adding a shortened more niche way to connect with the Toyota Community as it grew more popular.
Taco Vinyl has moved quickly from apartment to apartment, basement to garage, garage to pole barn shed, and now into a commercial facility located in Boise right in the heart of Idaho.
Many of our products are made here in our 7,000 sq ft space which we've expanded to include installs and auto restyling. More products have been manufactured as we've added High-Quality CNC Machines, CO2 Lasers, and Printers.
