• Wet Install Preferred: While this film can be applied dry, a wet installation is strongly recommended for optimal positioning and a bubble-free finish. Use a mild soap-and-water solution or dedicated slip solution during application.

• Surface Prep: Clean the brake light lens thoroughly with a heavy-duty degreaser followed by Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). Ensure the lens is 100% free of dirt, road grime, wax, or ceramic coatings before applying.

• Pro Tips:

  • Spray both your fingers and the adhesive side of the film with your wet solution to prevent fingerprints.

  • Use a soft felt-edge squeegee to firm squeeze all liquid and air pockets out from the center to the edges.

  • Gentle, minimal heat from a hair dryer or heat gun can be used to set the edges once positioned.
